On Monday, China gave the Philippines 2000 kits of rapid test for COVID-19, to help the country to curb the rapid growth in the number of cases of infection, the report said the Chinese Embassy in the Philippines.

The Embassy statement says that the high-tech kits for rapid test, developed by China BGI Group, can give results within three hours.

“Sets are not only widely used in the China fight the epidemic and proved to be very effective, but also have been exported to more than 50 countries, including Japan, Thailand, Brunei, Egypt, Peru and the United Arab Emirates”, — said in a statement.

The Embassy confirmed that “China is ready to provide more test cases in the coming days.”
