Sara VonGillern and Ginger Broussard will team up to teach a Hair-O-Graphy benefit master class Friday night, May 27, at Your Neighborhood Studio.
The event will be held from 8 to 10 pm, beginning with a one-hour dance class that will include flipping, tossing, and all types of hair moves with a blend of hip-hop and jazz funk styles. After whipping your hair, stay for a free neck and shoulder massage and socialize with your fellow hair lovers over complimentary wine and appetizers.
The requested donation for the class is $20. All proceeds will go to Pink Heart Funds, a nonprofit organization that provides free wigs for children and adults who have lost their hair due to illness or cancer treatment.
