Teaching Children about Mexican Culture with Mexican Culture Dolls

There is no better way to tech your children about great traditional Mexican culture than by playing.

The thing that children love the most is to play. Therefore, that is the best way to teach your children anything from brushing teeth to learning how to read.

Remember, children are not like us adults. They are not a mini version of adults. They are special. Their perception and way of functioning is very different than ours. Even their physiological functions are different.

Needless to say, children are very different psychologically than we are which is why all parents should avoid the teaching techniques that are practiced in high schools or college.

If you want to teach your children (2-10 years of age) about the Mexican culture get them to play with Mexican culture dolls.

These dolls you can buy or you can make them together with your children. The important thing is that you educate your children while playing so that learning about the Mexican culture is fun for them.

For example, if you wish your children to know the most important things about the Mexican revolution, including when it happened, reasons why it happened, the outcome of it and the most important individuals that took part in the Mexican revolution; you can do this with few Mexican revolution dolls.

First buy, or make with your children, the Pancho Vila doll, General Diaz doll and the Adelita (Mexican woman revolutionary solder) doll.

Then, find the best way to tell you children about the main characters of the story and encourage them to ask questions. If they dont show the interest dont push them. Just, next time do it in a different way.

Important thing to remember is that first and early learning experience should be fun for children.

This is because children develop attitude towards learning at very young age, and if their first and early learning experience was positive they are very likely to develop positive attitude toward learning in the future.
