Every year since the NFTS started in 1971, we have welcomed students from across the globe making NFTS a cross-cultural learning experience. Recently these have included Golden Horse Award winning Director Anthony Chen, Kristina Yee (Gold Medal at The Student Academy Awards, Foreign Category) and Edu Grau who just shot Suffragettes and also shot A Single Man Oscar nominated for best actor. In previous generations these have included Oscar winningcomposerDario Marianelli , Cinematographers like Andrez Secula who shot Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction and Alwin Kuchler (Steve Jobs and Sunshine), and Trevor Jones award-winning composer of Notting Hill and Last of the Mohicans to name but a few. We pride ourselves on our ability to give the very best world class post graduateeducationin the cinematographic television and games arts to students no matter from where in the world they come.

ABOUT THE NFTS

The Hollywood Reporter named the NFTS the top international film school in the world. Many countries have scholarshipprogrammesfor students wanting to study abroad and it’s worth investigating these in your home country. Additionally there are British Government-funded scholarship schemes available through the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Overseas Development Administration or United Nations. You can find out more from the British Council, Embassy or High Commission in your own country or from:

The application deadline for these scholarships may fall before our selection process is over, so you should ask if you can make an application in principle even though you may not yet have been offered a place at the School.
