• Clean the dryer lint filter after every single load. Lint buildup increases dryer time, prevents proper air flow, and leads to premature component failure. • It is also recommended that once a month you clean the lint filter with warm water, detergent and a small bristle brush such as a toothbrush. • Once per year you should also thoroughly clean your dryer’s entire venting system from the inside of your appliance to the outside vent cap. By using a 20-foot cleaning brush you will easily reach and remove lint buildup from the back of your dryer to the outside of the dryer vent chute.

• Inspect the area around the dryer’s vent cap outside every few months and make sure it’s clear and unobstructed by leaves, snow or shrubbery. Proper air flow is essential for your dryer to function safely and at it’s most efficient potential.
