Answer: The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle was an animated television series that originally aired from 1959 to 1964. The lead characters of the series were Rocket “Rocky” J. Squirrel, a flying squirrel, and his best friend Bullwinkle J. Moose, a dim-witted but good-natured moose. The show was known for its quality writing and wry humor. Mixing puns, satire, and self-referential humor, the cartoon appealed to adults as well as children. In 2013, Rocky and His Friends and The Bullwinkle Show were ranked the sixth Greatest TV Cartoon of All Time by TV Guide.
