Coronavirus continued the attack on Italy, the most affected country outside of China. On Sunday officials said that the number of deaths rose to 1809 — 25 percent more than the day before, and is the largest one-day surge from all countries.
368 deaths reported in Italy, exceeds the largest number of day cases reported in China in the midst of the outbreak. According to the world health organization, the highest number of daily casualties in China was 13 February when the country reported 254 new cases of death.

The number of French cases exceeded 5420 Sunday, with 127 deaths. On Saturday, 300 patients with coronavirus were in critical condition — half of them younger than 60 years.
