The Ministry of health of Costa Rica confirmed this Saturday that the number of people infected with coronavirus in Spain and amounts to a total of five people.
According to a press release, at least one of the cases will be associated with a man who arrived in the country from the outside.
“Foreigners remain in isolation and under medical observation in a hotel Josefino. Costa Ricans are isolated in state hospitals,” — said in the document of the Ministry. “All stable, healthy, in addition to 54-year-old Costa Rican, who remains in quarantine.”
Authorities added that they are investigating seven suspected cases between nationals and foreigners.
To date, no reports of local transmission of coronavirus in Spain.
