According to the organizer, people who attended the conservative conference at which President trump and Vice-President Mike Pence last week spoke, gave a positive result for coronavirus.
The American conservative Union, which holds an annual conference at the Conservative political action outside of Washington, stated that the visitor has been exposed to the virus before the four-day event and gave a positive result for him on Saturday.
“This party has not had direct interaction with the President or Vice President never attended events in the main hall, “—said in the statement. “The administration is trump aware of the situation, and we will continue regular communication with all relevant government officials“.
The statement said that the visitor was quarantined in new Jersey.
Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham, in his statement, said that “there is no indication that the President trump and Vice-President of the Pens met or were in close proximity to the infected visitor.”
Among other participants of the conference were the state Secretary Mike Pompeo, Minister of transport, Elaine Chao and the Minister of labor Eugene Scalia. Also present were Jared Kushner, the son-in-law and Advisor to the President, and Donald trump Jr., the eldest son of the President.
