Trump declares state of emergency in the US – coronavirus

President trump on Friday afternoon officially declared a state of emergency in the country, which, according to him, will provide the States and territories access to Federal funds in the amount of up to $ 50 billion to combat the spreading epidemic of coronavirus.

In his speech in the Rose garden of the White house he also gave new powers to the Minister of health Alex Azar, who, according to him, will now be able to abandon normative acts, giving doctors and hospitals greater flexibility in combating the virus, including treatment remotely.

Cases in the U.S. increased to more than 2030, even if rare trials, and the death toll has risen to more than 45. The United States faces the prospect that those numbers can increase exponentially, as in China, Italy, South Korea and other countries.

I officially declare a state of emergency in the country“, — he said.

I call on all States to immediately create operating emergency centres“, he added.

Donald trump said he refused the interest on student loans and that at low oil prices, the government will purchase large volumes of crude oil for the strategic reserve of the country.

In his review, it was noted that he first recognized coronavirus as a problem within the borders of the country, not just the fact that it is necessary to exclude due to restrictions on travel.

Donald trump and Vice-President Mike Pence both praised the efforts of the administration, and the President especially appreciated his own measures to prevent penetration of the virus into the country. However, some Americans returning from hot spots in the fashion industry, say they aren’t checking for symptoms.

Donald trump, who is accused of belittling the threat of crisis, told in detail about efforts of the administration to accelerate testing, which was announced earlier Friday. He said he will be available to millions of kits for testing for viruses, but added that he did not think that you will need so much.

We don’t want everyone passed the test,“he said. “It is absolutely not necessary“.

It will pass, it will pass and we will be even stronger“, — said the President.

On the question of whether he was tested for mers because of his contact to his estate in Florida, Mar-a-Lago with an infected Brazilian official, he replied: “Probably Yes“, in response to an earlier White house statement that he would not be diagnostic.

I think I’ll do it anyway. Pretty soon, he said.

Even when he spoke, there was news that a second person who was in the Mar-a-Lago, was discovered coronavirus.
