Many families have become health-conscious, realizing that eating better will significantly improve their health, well-being, and lifestyle, not to mention save money on healthcare costs and insurance. Nonetheless, we don’t want to give up our favorite delicacies and dishes just to lose a few pounds, so we decided on making a Deviled Eggs recipe without mayo.
Mayonnaise is made by mixing oil, egg yolk, and either lemon juice or vinegar to create a creamy, smooth condiment we love to use in many recipes and sandwiches. Fortunately, since we are already working with egg yolk, we can easily substitute mayonnaise and just mix in oil and vinegar. Depending on your family and friends, as well as the occasion or holiday, you can also add other ingredients as well, such as bacon bits, onions, olives, shrimp, crab, lobster, mustard, etc. For a full list of different garnishes or ingredients, cooks and moms can check out best Deviled Eggs.

Directions
Step #1: As with all Deviled Eggs recipes, you must hard boil 6 eggs. We will provide brief instructions here, but read here for a full length article on boiling eggs. Place 8 eggs in a pot (2 extras in case any of them crack or become damaged), fill with water about 1 inch above the top of the eggs. Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil.
Step #2: Afterwards, remove the pot from the stove and let sit for 15 minutes to complete the boiling process and harden the yolk centers.
Step #3: Run cold water into the pot or remove eggs and place into an ice bath. Allow the hard-boiled eggs to sit for 5 minutes until cold.
Step #4: Peel the egg shells. Be careful to not damage the egg whites so your dish will look beautiful and pristine.
Step #5: Cut the eggs in half, lengthwise.
Step #6: By gently applying pressure to the edges, squeeze the egg yolk centers out. You can also use a spoon to scoop out the yolks. Place the egg yolks into a mixing bowl and the egg white halves onto your serving plate.
Step #7: Mix in your ingredients – vinegar, oil, mustard, salt and pepper, sugar, and Worcestershire sauce – into the bowl with the egg yolks. The ingredients and amounts you choose depend on your family’s taste preferences. Blend the ingredients to create an evenly-mixed Deviled Eggs filling that is fluffy.
Step #8: Using a spoon or pastry bag (even a Ziploc bag with a corner cut will do), pipe and spread the filling into the egg white halves.
Step #9: Sprinkle paprika on top and add any other garnishes you may want to decorate with.
