EA is throwing its support behind the Nintendo Switch by bringing FIFA 18 to the new console. Although the publisher has been a bit cagey about the Switch version, raw gameplay footage was shown off at Gamescom 2017. Check it out below:
Although FIFA 18 on the Switch won’t run on the Frostbite engine like the Xbox One/PS4 versions, it doesn’t necessarily look bad. Sadly, the Switch version also won’t include the single player mode. On the bright side, the game at least looks playable on the Switch, and the very popular Ultimate Team mode will be included.
Who knows, maybe if the game sells well enough, we can get a more polished and improved version next year.
FIFA 18 hits Xbox One, Xbox 360 PS4, PS3, PC, and Nintendo Switch on September 29th, 2017.
