It can be argued that with7 players rated 90 or higher in Madden 18, the Dallas Cowboys may be a tad bit overrated. Not even the New England Patriots or Atlanta Falcons have that many 90+ overall players.
But when you take into account offensive line, it’s easy to understand how the Cowboys boast such impressive numbers. With multiple first round picks spent on offensive line in the past, the Cowboys have built what many consider to be the greatest offensive line in the league.
And that beast of an offensive line will dominate in Madden 18.
EA has revealed the five best offensive linemen in Madden 18, and it shouldn’t come as a surprise the Dallas Cowboys claim three of the spots.
1. Marshal Yanda, Baltimore Ravens – 96 Overall
While the Dallas Cowboys may have the best offensive line in football, they don’t technically have the best-rated offensive lineman in Madden 18. That belongs to Baltimore Ravens RG Marshal Yanda who checks in at96 Overall. That rating is largely based on his pass blocking ability (98 Pass Block), although he’s no slouch in the run game (87 Run Block). He also boasts98 Awareness.
2. Zack Martin, Dallas Cowboys – 95 Overall
Zack Martin leads the way for the Dallas Cowboys. The RG is 95 Overall, with 91 Run Block and 90 Pass Block. He also has 96 Awareness.
3. Trent Williams, Washington Redskins – 95 Overall
As a Cowboys fan I hate this. Washington Redksins LT Trent Williams is the third best rated offensive lineman in Madden 18 with95 Overall,95 Strength,94 Run Blockand95 Pass Block. His only weakness isImpact Blocking which is just 83(that’s seven points less than everyone else in the top 5).
4. Tyron Smith, Dallas Cowboys – 94 Overall
For the Tackle position, protecting your quarterback’s blind side is probably the most important job on the line. No one does it better than LT Tyron Smith who has94 Pass Block. He’s less balanced than teammate Zach Martin, with an89 Run Block, but he makes up for that with exceptional scores Block Footwork and Block Strength for both pass and run.
5. Travis Frederick, Dallas Cowboys – 93 Overall
C Travis Frederick has the benefit of Smith on the left, and Martin on the right. The best rated Center in the game, Frederick is a good balance to Smith with Run Block stats taking the lead over Pass. HisRun Block Strength is best-in-game at 99with anImpact Block at 97. And with Awareness more important than ever in Madden 18, Frederick scores a95 Awarenessrating.
