If you logged in to The Sims FreePlay today, you may have noticed the notification for the Country Homestead Event. This is an upcoming time limited hobby event, similar to the Mean Curls event that just recently wrapped up.
The Country Homestead Event is said to be “coming soon,” and seeing as how its a timed event, here are some tips for preparing ahead of time.
Purchase a Woodworking Bench
The Country Homestead Event will involve the Woodworking hobby, so first thing you’ll want to do is purchase a couple of Woodworking Benches from the Promotions’R’Us store.
Level Up Woodworking Hobby
Like other timed hobby events, Country Homestead Event will likely involve you completing the Woodworking Hobby collection a number of times to unlock rewards. To complete this collection, you’ll need at least one Sim who is able to collect high level pieces of the collection.
Because you only have a limited time to complete the collection, you don’t want to have to wait for your Sims to level up during the event. So now that you’ve hopefully purchased the Woodworking Bench, start grinding until at least one Sim hits max level in Woodworking.
The goal is to have at least one Sim at max level in Woodworking so that they are able to farm the high level items. Although you won’t be able to keep these items for your collection once you start the event, having a max level Woodworker will make your farming MUCH easier and quicker.
