2016 Ghana Immigration Recruitment Screening Centers

TheGhanaImmigration service (GIS) invites job applications from suitably qualified Ghanaian for enlistment into the service.
Qualification Required And competences
All candidates are to satisfy the following requirements

1. GRADUATE ENTRY

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must posses a first degree not below a second class lower in social sciences/Humanities from an accredited university.
• Must have completed his/her national service
• Must be computer literate
• Must be of minimum age of 21 and not more than 28 years by 31st December 2016
• Mus be physically and mentally fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73 meters (5ft 8inch) for males and 1.63 meters (5ft 4 inch) for females.

1. NON GRADUATE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS (RECRUITS)

• Must be a Ghanaian citizen by birth with no criminal record.
• Must hold SSSCE/WASSCE certificate with five (5) credits including English Language and a pass inmathematics.
• Must be of minimum age of 18 and not more than 26 years by 31st December 2016
• Mus be physically and mentally fit.
• Must be of good character.
• Must not be bonded.
• Must have a minimum height of 1.73 meters (5ft 8inch) for males and 1.63 meters (5ft 4 inch) for females.

HOW TO APPLY

The first step in applying is to purchase an electronic voucher at a cost of one hundredGhanacedis (GHc100.00) from the various branches of the GCB Ltd. across the country. It is important to note that Ghana immigration service do no longer sell the forms for enlistment or recruitment.

After the purchase of the E – Voucher, the applicant must go online using the address http//:www.joingis.com.gh to fill in all the required information. Applicants must note that they must enter both the serial number of the voucher, and the pin code.

NOTE

• Salesof E – Voucher begins from 27th July 2016, to 17th August 2016.
• Completion of application forms online begins on 29th July 2016 and ends on 24th August 2016at 5pm.
• Candidates who meet the requirements will be shortlisted and informed about the next step.

NO MIDDLEMEN

The attention of the Ghana Immigration service has been drawn to the fact that some unscrupulous persons are going around duping unsuspecting applicants with the promise of getting them enlisted into the Ghana Immigration Service. It must be noted that no individual or group of persons can help anybody since the process is transparent as possible. Anybody who present himself/herself as such must be reported immediately to the police for his/her arrest and prosecution.
