The BScBusinessEconomics is is a comprehensiveprogrammethat combines economics with a wide range related topics inbusiness, statistics, management and finance. The programme gives students a strong foundation to develop their professional careers in the areas of economics and business.
BScAccountingand Finance
The content of the programme contains courses of identified accountancy professional bodies that will give students exemptions from their examinations upon successful completion. Students will also gain knowledge in Financial and Non-financial (integrated) Reporting, Corporate Finance, Investment and Portfolio Management, International Finance and Risk Management and Insurance amongothers.
MPhil Finance
The MPhil Finance is a rigorous two-year programme that aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge in finance through independent and original research. Students will spend the entire second year to write their MPhil Thesis under the supervision of twofaculty members. The programme provides research-led teaching that develops student’s skills and knowledge as well as provides a solid foundation for students who intend to pursue a PhD programme and those aiming for careers in finance.
