The Master of Arts in Management and Administrationprogrammeis a full-time 1-year programme aimed at providing administrators andothersholding line management/supervisory positions in a variety of sectors the opportunity to receive administrative training. Students acquire the skills in understanding and facilitating seamless administrations of organisations and institutions – from office management through procurement/logistics; meeting management; stakeholder management and public sector service delivery; as well as help build a core of professional administrative managers.
Courses which are undertaken during the period of study include Administrative Management, Administrative Law & the Regulatory Environment, Budgeting & Financial Administration, Management Information Systems, Project Management, Supply Chain & Procurement Management, Office Management, Advanced Managerial Principles, Human Resource Management,BusinessEthics & Corporate Responsibility.
Students are also required to write a long essay under supervision.
Admission Requirements
A good first degree (at least a Second Class Lower) in any field from a recognized University. In addition, a minimum of three (3) years post qualification working experience is required. There is one admission in August each year.
