Political Setting of Public Administration At University Of Ghana

This course seeks to introduce students to basic concepts and terminologies in administration and
politics, and to familiarise students with the political context of administration inGhana. Specific
topics to be covered include the nature and scope of administration and politics; the politics administration
dichotomy; the Political System – System Perspective on the Political Process;
organizations as political systems; power, authority and morality; government and administration in
Ghana; administrative responsibility and accountability; and contemporary issues in the politics administration
dichotomy in Ghana.
