This Friday night, come out and dance to show your support for those affected by the Sandy Hook massacre!
Tony Tzar, Shane Sparks, and Matt Steffanina & Dana Alexa will each teach a free hip-hop class at the Dance for Sandy Hook benefit, to be held at Millennium Dance Complex, and donations will be accepted. Matt & Dana will teach at 7 PM, Tony at 8 PM, and Shane at 9 PM.
All funds raised will go directly to the Newtown Memorial Fund, administered by the PTSA of Sandy Hook Elementary School. The PTSA will use funds to provide counseling for victims’ families, surviving children, and others affected by the shooting; help pay for the funeral expenses of the victims; and establish scholarships in memory of the victims.
Just back from a four-month dance tour of China, Matt and Dana have organized this evening so dancers can come together to show their support for the Newtown community in this time of need. If you have questions or need further information about the event, e-mail DMLAdance@gmail.com.
