SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNICIAN PART I

DURATION: Eighteen (18) months

GCE ‘O’ LEVEL APPLICANTS

Four (4) GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English Language,Mathematicsand any of these three (3) subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology Mathematics and Additional General Science.

B SSS/WASSCE APPLICANTS

Passes in four (4) SSSCE/WASSCE subjects including English Language, Mathematics and any two (2) elective subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics.

other Applicants

Must have at least four (4) GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, Mathematics and any two (2) Science subjects.

AND

Must have at least three (3) years working experience in a science laboratory.

ADVANCE FASHION

DURATION: Eighteen (18) months

A pass in the Intermediate Dressmaking/FashionCertificate Examination plus one year industrial experience.

OR

Four (4) credit passes in SSSCE/WASSCE subjects including English Language, Mathematics and any other elective subjects.

OR

NVT I Grade II & Grade I certificates

OR

Four (4) passes in GCE ‘O’ Level including English Language, Mathematics and any related Fashion subjects.

ADVANCE COOKERY

DURATION: One (1) year

Pass in Basic Cookery (812/1) or City and Guilds (706/2) and a minimum of one year working experience.

APPLICANTS MUST SATISFY REQUIREMENTS FOR BASIC COOKERY (812/1)

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN PART II (EET II)

DURATION: One (1) year

i Pass in EET Part I.

OR

ii Pass in Electrical Installation Work – Advanced Craft (Course ‘C’).

OR

iii Pass in Radio and Electronics Part II.

OR

iv Pass in Telecommunication Part II.

(APPLICANTS MUST SATISFY REQUIREMENT FOR EET PART I)

ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN I (EET I)

DURATION: One (1) year

Four (4) passes in SSSCE/WASSCE subjects including Core English, Core Mathematics and any two (2) elective science subjects.

OR

Pass in Telecommunications Part I.

OR

Four (4) GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English Language, Mathematics.

OR

Pass in Electrical Installation Work (Course B).

CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN COURSE PART II (CTC II)

DURATION: One (1) year

Pass in Construction Technician Course Part I with at least one year working experience.

APPLICANTS MUST SATISFY REQUIREMENTS FOR General Course in Construction (GCC)

CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN COURSE PART I (CTC I)

DURATION: One (1) year

Passes in all General Course in Construction (GCC) subjects or General Engineering subjects or passes in four (4) GCE ‘O’ Level subjects including English Language and Mathematics or four (4) SSSCE/WASSCE passes including Core English and Core Mathematics.

REFRIGERATION TECHNICIAN PART II

Passes in four (4) SSSCE/WASSCE subjects including English Language, Mathematics and any two (2) Science subjects.

OR

Four (4) GCE ‘O’ Level passes including English Language and Mathematics and any two (2) Science subjects.

OR

Refrigeration Mechanics Certificate

OR

General Course in Engineering

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN PART I (MET. I)

DURATION: One (1) year

Mechanical Engineering Craft Practice Certificate with passes in all three (3) subjects.

OR

Passes in four (4) SSSCE/WASSCE subjects including English Language and Mathematics.

MOTOR VEHICLE TECHNICIAN PART I

DURATION: One (1) year

Pass in Motor Vehicle Mechanics (intermediate).

OR

Passes in four (4) SSSCE/WASSCE subjects including English Language and Mathematics

DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS STUDIES

(accounting/SECRETARIAL/MANAGEMENT/PURCHASING & SUPPLY/

DURATION: Eighteen (18) months

DURATION: Eighteen (18) months

Including English Language and Mathematics.

OR

Mature employees who need to acquire a higher qualification to enhance their performance or promotion.
