Sleep is a vital part of a human’s daily life. Without it we are significantly less functional and it can make everyday tasks quite difficult.
When I was a senior in high school I was working a job while trying to scurry to finish my honors diploma, the stress and always thinking about what I had to do the next day kept me awake at night. However, even after I graduated and the stress went away, I still could not fall asleep and if I did I wouldn’t stay asleep. Frustrated, and always drowsy, I decided to try some over the counter sleep aids. I tried Nytol and Unisom, and although my sleeping patterns did improve slightly, they both left me very drowsy into the next day, not a solution to the problem. So, I turned to my doctor who prescribed me AMBIEN. I was prescribed it at age 18 and am now almost 20 and it has worked great for me. Not only do I sleep through the night, but I actually feel alive and like I rested the night before. The only negative side effect I had was difficulty waking up the next morning, at first, and dry mouth.I simply take one pill every night a half an hour to an hour before bedtime. If OTC sleep aids are not working for you, I highly recommend talking to your doctor about AMBIEN.
