My seven-year-old girl started having difficulty getting to sleep independenly several months ago, requiring me to stay near her bed to be able to fall asleep, and then waking up once or twice during the night and coming into my bedroom to go help her resume sleep. I associated this problem to having changed her school this year. Now, classes are over, but still the problem remains.Should I have her seen by a therapist?
