Question
I have suffered with what I think is sleep apnea for quite sometime now, recently getting worse.During my sleep I hold my breath letting it out slowly making an awful noise, similar to an old door opening slowly, or the girl from the grudge. The noise is so loud it not only wakes me up (which im also gasping for air) but my boyfriend as well.I am certain my problem is caused by my sleeping with my mouth open. I am on a waiting list for a sleep clinic but its been almost a year and am still waiting. Its only getting worse and I constantly wake up feeling tired and groggy.I was thinking snore straps or a snoring mouthpiece but am not sure if this will help my problem. Any suggestions to help me out?
