I am software professional. I am working for a reputed company. My job is a very stressful job. During project I sleep hardly for an hour or two.
Due to this, I soon found myself not sleeping even after the project was over. If I am earlier home, I will reach the bed with the idea to sleep. But I found myself just passing time on the bed turning this side and that side. I found myself suffering from insomnia.
Since I couldn’t sleep, I found myself not doing my work properly. I am usually a perfectionist. Because I didn’t get good sleep, it’s was really hard for me to complete the work. I took many sleeping pills. But most of them gave me many side effects rather than the good sleep. I suffered from severe headache due to the intake of tablets.
It was then my friend suggested me an idea. She asked me to do yoga. I joined in the yoga class. It is a weekend class. So, I can manage the time effectively. At the beginning I didn’t have any improvement. But later I recognized that I could sleep well than before. Now finally I am having a sound sleep. In the class they also gave some books to keep our mind relaxed. Those books are splendid and really useful to me. I feel rather than taking tablets its better to do some asanas and keep ourselves relaxed to get a sound sleep.
