Salads are usually the easiest to prepare and you dont need a lot of time or experience in order to produce some exiting and delicious traditional Mexican salads.

In fact if you have no experience in the kitchen or you have some bad kitchen experience the easy Mexican recipes such as the authentic Mexican salads are the best choice for you and your culinary self-esteem.

Mexican Avocado Egg Chicken Salad

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts (cooked)
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 avocados
  • 2 onions
  • 2 gloves garlic
  • 8 table spoons of Mexican lime juice
  • 2 cups of tortilla chips
  • 2 table spoons of olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

    Directions:

  • Cook the chicken, cool it with cold water and dice it
  • Peel the avocados, remove the seeds and cut them into small cubes
  • Cut the tomatoes and onions and mix them with the avocados
  • Cut the garlic into very small peaces and add it to the mixture above
  • Mix in the chicken, olive oil and Mexican lime juice
  • Slice the eggs and layer the serving plates with it
  • Place the salad on top of it
  • and just before serving top it with the tortilla chips

    If you would like to have a vegetarian traditional Mexican salad the only thing you need to do is to leave out the chicken and the eggs. In that case however you should add some peppers and just a few slices of apple to have that authentic Mexican taste.

    Mexican BeanCorn – Doritos Salad

    Ingredients:

  • 1 can of red kidney beans
  • 1 can of corn
  • 1 pepper ceded and chopped
  • 3 chopped tomatoes
  • 1 cup of Doritos chips
  • 1 garlic chopped
  • 1 table spoon of olive oil
  • 1 table spoon of chili powder

    Directions:

    Mix the beans, corn, pepper, tomatoes, garlic, olive oil and chili powder and top it with the Doritos chips.
