On Saturday, Governor Andrew M. Cuomo declared a state of emergency in new York as the number of confirmed cases in the state has risen to 76, including 11 in new York, the last of which is the driver of a taxi service.
According to Mr. Cuomo, the Declaration of emergency will allow the state to accelerate the purchase of supplies and hiring of employees to assist local health departments that monitor thousands of patients in quarantine.

According to the Governor, the epicenter in new York continued to be to the North of the city, in Westchester County, where there were only 57.
