- Inspect the new seal to make sure it does not have any cuts, folds or kinks in it, and if there are any lines, make sure to smooth them out before installing the seal.
- Remove the old refrigerator door seal by taking off the inner door panel, held in place by a number of screws.
- Install the new door seal by loosely fitting it around the perimeter of the appliance opening, top to bottom. Go around the perimeter the second time, making sure to tighten the seal evenly, but be careful not to tighten too severely or the plastic might crack.
