It’s no secret that EA’s NBA LIVE franchise has struggled to take off. Clearly behind its competition from 2K, EA is doing everything within their power to close the gap between the two franchises. That apparently includes offering an insane pre-order promotion for NBA LIVE 18 that sees the price reduced from $59.99 to $39.99.
Announced today, pre-ordering NBA LIVE 18 at participating retailers will get you 33% off a new copy of the game. This applies to both the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. With the pre-order discount, you can get a brand new copy of NBA LIVE 18 for just $39.99.
Participating retailers include Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Target, Toys R Us, and Walmart.
This insane pre-order promotion expires on September 15, 2017. And, of course, there is some fine print.
EA is clearly looking to make a splash with NBA LIVE 18 this year, adding — for the first time in video game history —the ability to play as WNBA teams.
