GHANACOLLEGE OF NURSES AND MIDWIVES
RESIDENCY ADMISSIONS FOR 2017/2018 ACADEMIC YEAR
ENTRY REQUIREMENT FOR PAEDIATRIC ASSOCIATE RESIDENCYPROGRAMME:
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
 Diploma in Nursing or Midwifery (minimum)
 BSc/BA degree in Nursing or Midwifery is an added advantage. (To be considered for future membership programme)
 Should be a registered nurse (all nursingprogrammes) or midwife in good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council ofGhana(NMCG)
 Minimum of 3 years post qualification work experience
 Residency is one (1) year full time
All candidates will be shortlisted and interviewed. Based on successful performance, candidates will gain admission to undergo Membership/Associate Membership programmes.
HOW TO APPLY
 Interested Ghanaian applicants should make payment of GHC 175.00 (One hundred and seventy-five Ghana Cedis only) at any of the followingbanks:

 International applicants should make payment of USD120.00 equivalent (One hundred and twenty US Dollars) to the Ecobank account
 PAYMENTS SHOULD BE MADE IN THE APPLICANT’S NAME
 Scan bank payment slip and email to admissions@gcnm.edu.gh to be able to receive a code for accessing the application form
 Click on link www.gcnm.edu.gh to complete application online
 Attach scanned copies of the following to the application
o Bachelor degree in nursing or midwifery.
o Diploma certificate in nursing or midwifery
o Certified transcripts of study results
o Statement of Intent
 One page
o Two recommendation letters – (they must have original signatures and contain the contact details of the referees)
o Release letter from Head of institution
