1. Infantry /Armour/Artillery/Military Police. In addition to the General eligibility applicants must have6 Credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE includingEnglishandMathematics.

5. Signals Corps.
(1) Operation Group. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics. Possession of a valid driving licence is an advantage.
(2) Radio Technician. In addition to the General Eligibility applicant much have Mathematics, Physics, Elective Mathematics and any of the following:
(a) City and Guilds Certificate in Electronics.
(b) City and Guilds Certificate in Telecommunications
(3) Line Technician. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(a) Certificate in Fibre Optics Technology.
(b) Certificate in RF Engineering.
(c) Certificate in Satellite Communications.
6. Directorate of Information Technology. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(1) Network Technicians. N+ Certificate from a recognised Institution including knowledge in LINUX/Windows Server 2003 and 2008 management.
(2) Database Administration. Certification in MySQL, SQL, and Oracle from a recognised Institution.
(3) Computer Programming. Certification in VB, C++ and Java from a recognised Institution.
(4) Web Design. Certification in HTML, PHP, CSS, CMS and Photoshop from a recognised Institution.
7. Supply and Transport Corps. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(1) Drivers. Professional Driving Licence Class D.
(2) Supply Clerks/Storeman. Certificate in Storekeeping/MarketingGrade II or Stenographer/Typist Grade I.
(3) Movement. Certificate in Freight Forwarding/Air Ticketing/Cargo Handling from recognised Institution.
(4) Fireman/Woman. Certificate in Fire Fighting from National Fire Service plus professional Driving Licence class D.
8. Public Relations Corps. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:
(1) Information Assistants. Diploma/Certificate(not less thanone year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in Journalism, Public Relations, English Language /Literature, Broadcasting, Communication Studies or Photo journalism.
(2) Photographers.Diploma/Certificate(not less thanone year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in general photography.
(3) Cinematographer. Diploma/Certificate(not less thanone year continuous study) from a recognised/accredited institution in Fine Art, Film Editing, Camera Work, Lighting, Film Directing, Sound,Graphic Designor Animation.
9. Medical Corps. In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have credit in English and Mathematics (not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE and any of the following from accredited institutions:
(1) Nurses – Diploma: Registered General Nurse (RGN). Certificate:HealthAssistants (Clinical)/Community Health.
(2) Laboratory Technicians– Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
(3) Laboratory Assistants– Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
(4) Dispensing Technicians– HND Dispensing/ Pharmacy Technology.
(5) X-Ray Technicians– Diploma in Radiography.
(6) DentalSurgeryAssistants– Diploma/Certificate in Dental Surgery Assistance.
(7) Dental Technicians– Diploma in Dental Technology.
(8) EnvironmentalHealthOfficers– Diploma in Environmental Health and Sanitation.
(9) Environmental Health Assistants– Certificate in Environmental Health and Sanitation.
(10) Field Technician– Certificate in Community Health.
(11) Medical Storemen– HND in Purchasing & Supply.
(12) Technical Officers– Diploma in Health Information or Diploma in Disease Control or Diploma in Veterinary Technology.
10. Ordnance Corps.
(1) Storeman/Woman. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE and Diploma inBusinessStudies.
(2) Ammunition Technicians. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE including science subjects.
(3) Tailor/Textiles & Cobblers/ Leather Works. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:
(a) Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in any of the above.
(b) Ghana Education Service (GES) or COTVET Certificate II in any of the above.
11. Clerk General Duties. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE including Credit in English and Mathematics and any of the following.
(1) Certificate in Secretaryship from a recognised Institution.
(2) Certificate in computer software applications (Word, Excel, Access, Corel Draw etc) from a recognised Institution.
12. Education Corps. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have6 credits(not less than GradeC6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(1) Teachers Post-Secondary Certificate A.
(2) Diploma in Education.
13. Bandsmen. In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (not less than Grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:
(1) Ability to sight-read musical notes.
(2) Ability to play Woodwind or Brass instruments.
(3) Proficiency in Basic Music (ABRSM) grade 4. Theory will be an added advantage.
Army Candidates
