UEW 2018 Postgraduate programmes – Distance Mode

M. ED. IN MENTORSHIP

Applicant must:

1. Be a teacher mentor trained by UEW in the past
2. Hold a first degree witheducationcomponent
3. (eg B. Ed) from a recognized University in the subject specific area and should have taught for at least two years.
4. Possess a first degree in a subject specific area plus postgraduate diploma/certificate ineducation.
5. Be a teacher in basic school at the level of principal superintendent and above in theGhanaEducation Service status ranking
6. Be recommended by his/her head of school.

POST-GRADUATE DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (Thisprogrammeis run in thedistance learningmode and on Sandwich Basis)

1. Applicant should hold a first Degree from a recognized institution.
2. Must have interest in teaching.
3. Must pass an interview.
4. Applicants without any education background (Qualification in Education) would be required to audit courses in education.
