The Pasadena Dance Festival, produced by Lineage Dance Company and now in its seventh year, will offer a variety of dance classes, performances, lectures, and workshops this February. The festival will be split between two weeks, with events February 14-16 and February 20-22. For full schedule details and to purchase tickets, visit the Pasadena Dance Festival web page.
The festival has relocated this year! All events except on the final day of the festival will be held at Lineage PAC, in Pasadena’s Old Town. All events on the festival’s final day will be held at Flintridge Preparatory School in La Cañada, roughly four-and-a-half miles northwest of Old Town and just off the 210 freeway. Friday, Feb 14
Lineage PAC: Free tango class and performance. No reservations needed. No experience required.
Saturday, Feb 15
Lineage PAC: Free day of dance! Intermediate Modern with Nancy Doede, 10:30 AM-12 PM; Beginning Modern with Ericalynn Priolo, 12-1 PM; Inspired Movement / Healing through Dance (primarily designed for seniors and people who have movement disorders or debilitating injuries) with Michelle Kolb, 1-2 PM; and Hip Hop with Ryan Johnson, 2-3 PM.
Lineage PAC: Free performance by Lineage Dance Company, 3 PM.
Sunday, Feb 16
Lineage PAC: Festival Kick-Off Concert, 7 PM. Tickets available online and at the door.
Thursday, Feb 20
Lineage PAC: Emerging Choreographers Showcase, 8 PM. Tickets available online and at the door.
Friday, Feb 21
Lineage PAC: Emerging Choreographers Showcase, 8 PM. Must purchase full-day pass to attend, available online and at the door.
Saturday, Feb 22
Flintridge Preparatory School: Classes, workshops, and lectures, 9 AM-6 PM. Tickets available online and at the door.
