The documentary Planet B-Boy will be the featured presentation at Your Neighborhood Studio’s free movie night on Friday, April 27. Following the lives of bboys in Las Vegas, Seoul, Paris, and Osaka as they prepare for a world championship battle in Germany, this documentary looks at the history of bboying and its role in urban cultures around the world.
Movie night, held from 8 to 10 pm, will also include a live demonstration by YNS instructor Bgirl Peppa (of Outer Circle Crew and Syrenz) and her students.
The movie will be projected on a big, white wall in the studio’s Boogie Lounge. Bring your own comfortable chair, blanket, or sleeping bag. Complimentary popcorn will be provided.
