Authentic Layered Mexican Casserole

This Mexican dish is simply delicious and easy to make.

Even though this Mexican casserole recipe doesnt fall into the category of quick Mexican recipes you should try it because it is authentic Mexican and very tasteful.

Ingredients:

pound (250gr) ground beef

1 onion

5 corn tortillas or 5 cups of tortilla chips

One can of cream chicken soup

3 Tomatoes

One cup of cheddar cheese

One can Ranch style beans

One table spoon chili powder

One table spoon garlic powder

Pepper and salt to taste

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Butter a casserole dish

Chop the tomatoes and the onion

Brown ground beef in a large skillet and drain well

Layer two cups of tortilla chips

Cover the chips with the ground beef

Layer the onion over the ground beef

Layer the Ranch style beans

Layer half of the cheddar cheese

Repeat the layers

Pour the cream chicken soup over the casserole

Bake it for 30 minutes

Top with remaining cheese, tortilla chips and peeled tomatoes

Bake for 10-15 minutes
